Extreme vomiting, nausea and tiredness today. Is it because of my gastric problem?
Was very hungry last night after work but was able to have dinner at 8pm. I ate my dinner in 3minutes I think which I know is not right but I was starving. After that I had a few drinks(Vodka with Juice) then I became sick. Fell asleep, woke up at 6am and my vomiting nightmare started. I’d puke every 15-20minutes to the point that I was vomiting bile already as my stomach does not have anything left. I’ve been diagnosed with Gastric Reflux 2 yrs ago, do you think there’s a connection to what happened? I am still not feeling well as I’m writing this but I’m not vomiting anymore as I took Zantax/Zantac I forgot what you call it. But my stomach still feels weird.

Absolutely.

with reflux it is best to eat small frequent meals. Eating fast is never good for your stomach. Alcohol will aggravate your reflux everytime. So, yes it is probably just the gastric reflux making you sick.

Initially, I was going to ask if you could be pregnant, but I think you may have picked up a bug, judging by the frequency of your vomiting. It is unlikely to be the reflux problem you have been diagnosed with as that would not explain the frequency of vomiting and the big delay from the night before to the morning for onset of vomiting.

If you are still throwing up after 24 hours with no let-up, go see your GP. In the meantime, drink sips of water frequently and hopefully it will pass SOON!! Best wishes!
