constant period pain, lower back pain, diarrhea, nausea and blood clots nearly every day? any ideas?
to start with i have pcos and get my period maybe 3 times a year the last couple of months i have had constant period pain, nausea occasionally lower back pain and constant bad diarrhea (sorry if gross) ive been hoping it would just go away and my gyno has put me on the pill it hasnt helped … but now im also getting blood clots and bleeding when im not ment too… should i see another doctor? my gyno hasnt even given me any tests and ive seen him 4 times all with the same symtoms…..also any idea wat it could be??

he has done a series of blood test my insulin levels were 5 times the normal and that is all hes done im 22 and he told me i had pcos by an ultrasound i had when i was 16!! i was very angry they never done anything about it then
i have an appointment with him in 2 weeks my 6 th appointment
also i forgot to mention that the last couple of months i have been getting blood clots nearly everyday

You might want to start taking Vitamin D3. Studies have shown that PCOS and Vitamin D deficiency may be linked.
Also, PCOS is connected to being overweight and diabetes. Your elevated insulin would suggest that you may need to go on a low carb diet.
If you have your doctor test you for Vitamin D, the test you want is 25(OH)D or 25-hydroxyvitamin D. Optimal levels are between 45-50ng/ml or 115-128nmol/L.
