Is being nauseous the day after having a cardiac ablation normal?
I had a cardiac catheter ablation yesterday and am feeling nauseous today. I received conscious sedation with Fentanyl during the procedure yesterday. Is this normal?

A physician never likes the question ‘is it normal’ as we have such difficulty in defining normal anything. Let me say that nausea for a day or two after a radio-catheter ablation is not at all uncommon. If it persists past 72 hours then you should notifiy your physician.
