5 days late, very swollen sore breasts for a week, fatigue and a little more frequent urination.Pregnant?
I had unprotected sex with my husband on a few occasions mid-ish cycle. I am about 4 – 5 days late for my period which isn’t terribly unusual as I’m not that regular. However, I have had extremely swollen and sore boobs for the past 5 days, and have been super tired for the past couple of days, semi nauseous and have been peeing a little more than usual. My boobs occasionally get sore before my period but have never been this BIG or tender and normally that only lasts 2 days max. I took a pregnancy test today and it came back negative. I think that I may have taken it too soon and also had a lot of fluids before I took it. I plan on retesting with my first morning urine in the next few days. The tiredness, nausea and pee thing is maybe all in my head and I could very well be freaking myself out for no reason. The boob thing has just never happened like this before. Is it possible I’m pregnant?
I also feel like I’ve had a a tiny bit of temperature. You know when your face feels hot? I’ve heard that an elevated temperature is also a sign of pregnancy but I could just be tired or have a cold lurking…

I knew I was pregnant right away because my breasts hurt so bad. All you can do is wait it out until the day after your missed period and then take the test. The more you stress about it the worse the symptoms will be, even if you are not pregnant. Sometimes just knowing we didnt use protection with our husband can cause us to worry and throw off our cycle.

i sure can be possible. you may not have enough of the pregnancy hormone yet. i would take a test in the morning and another in a week or see a dr for a blood draw if you have not started.

Yes it is still possible, and most pregnancy tests can’t accurately tell you until a week or more has passed after your missed period
All pregnancy tests look for the presence of hCG. hCG is short for “’’human chorionic gonadotropin’’”. it is produced by the placenta
“but 10% of women will test negative even though they are pregnant. If you’re trying to get pregnant and get a negative test result, you should still avoid alcohol, cigarettes and recreational drugs, just in case you are actually pregnant”

Sore boobs and being super tired were my main pregnancy issues……is possible. Retest first thing in the morning……you may have been too early too that levels were below testing level. Or, maybe just having hormone issues that caused period to be late.
